For a long time, since I was a small girl, I loved walking in the woods.
The joy of my soul was immense at the presence of all living things surrounding.
It didn't matter whether it was day or night, for the wood always listened and I found solace in it's embrace.
Ever since that time, I see trees as magical tunnels between earth and sky, the home to birds; their branches, strings of music the hands of wind play; their bark, the story of all seasons; a box that guards our dialogue with god.
