from the creative archive

Some of the smaller paper birds I made for
lamps and installations. They're made out of recycled
paper and stitched. The pattern wasn't preconceived;
they took shape as I was working on them.

long live paper!

Some stains, in my opinion, have
life of their own. They are rather interesting when the surface happens to be paper
because no one would much care about throwing stained paper away,
it's  just not something we wash and look after. This supermarket reused paper was on
my working table and I hesitated for an instant before throwing it away because
it seemed to have had a long life! so instead, I grabbed a brush and painted a tree.
