Heat and atoms
I was experimenting with the use of wax and paint for this piece. The wax highlighted the paint's brightness. It was exciting to see the fusion about to be frozen in time by an act of Physics.
This event brought back unexpected memories of Wim Wender's "Tokyo Ga" where the spectator is taken on a tour to Japanese wax-food factories and see the process involved in making the hyperrealistic eatables. Fascinating!
