Eyes wide open

When working on a three- dimensional piece, you observe with your hands what had been preconceived and drafted. There is an intuitive feel at your fingertips that enables the idea to be carried out.
Once the sculpture is finished, you look at it from all its angles: walk around it, bend, stand tip-toed, reach with the hand to gently move or tilt it and see how the shadows move along too. The sculpture causes you to move, to observe, to be surprised.
The idea has come to life, so much life that you are moving along with it.
